Bona Prime Classic UX is a non-yellowing water-based primer that produces a light
wood colouration and retains the natural appearance of the wood meaning it is
the ideal primer to use with Bona Traffic HD Raw and other Bona extra matt /
matt finishes. Bona Classic UX is easy to apply and quick to dry with an excellent
filling ability bringing an even finish film. It is classified as EC1Plus meaning very
low indoor air emissions.
Bona Classic UX is not recommended for use on high tannin timber species e.g.
Blackbutt or Tallowwood. Bona Intense should be used as the primer on such

Description

Non yellowing with light colouration that retains the natural appearance of the timber

Water-based 1-component polyurethane acrylate
Solids content: Approx 31.5%
VOC: Max 48 g / lit
Dilution: If required, dilute with Bona Retarder (4%) for longer open
time.
Drying time: 1 – 2 hours
Under normal climate conditions 20ºC / 60% R.H. with
reasonable ventilation
Application tools: Bona Roller
Application rate: 8 m² / Lt per coat
Safety Unclassified
Cleaning: Wipe tools free from residual material before cleaning with
a minimum of water. Dried material can be removed with
acetone.
Shelf life: 1 year from date of production in unopened original
container
Storage/transport: The temperature must not fall below +5º C or exceed
+25º C during storage or transport
Disposal: Wastes and emptied containers should be handled in
accordance with local regulations.
